IT IS MANDATORY FOR INDIAN ORIGIN APPLICANTS TO ATTACH FILLED-IN ENTRY VISA APPLICATION FORM SIGNED BY SPONSOR ALONG WITH NOTARIZED AFFEDAVIT OF SPONSORSHIP
Required documents for each category of visa being processed through Consulate General are as follow:
FAMILY VISA
ADULT (18 YEARS & ABOVE)
- Passport
- Photograph
- Pakistani ID (valid or expired)/Birth certificate/marriage certificate and Pakistani ID of spouse (valid or expired)
- Driver’s License or State ID
- If US born Citizen, then parents’ Pakistan ID (valid or expired)
MINOR (BELOW 18 YEARS)
- Passport
- Photograph
- Birth Certificate
- Notarized Parents’ Consent Form (download here)
- Parents’ Pakistan ID (valid or expired)
- Copy of Parents’ Driving License
Note: Only Pakistan origin applicants and their foreign national spouses and children are eligible for Family Visa Category.
TOURIST VISA
- Passport

- Invitation letter/hotel booking/tourist operator certificate
- Copy of Pakistani ID Card of Sponsor
- Copy of US Driving License
BUSINESS VISA
- Passport
- Photograph
- E-Commerce generated letter/ Invitation letter from organization/SECP registration letter from organization

General pointers/information for acquiring online visa:
- Minor children MUST possess a valid Pakistani visa/NICOP before traveling to Pakistan. They CANNOT travel on their parent’s passports.
- Visa will be granted between 5 to 7 business days. If there is urgency, proof of urgency along with booked ticket may be emailed on the Consulate General’s email address along with the visa application ID for urgent processing of visa.
- Applicants should write their full name as mentioned in the passport including, if applicable, the middle name (along with the first name in the space provided for ‘GIVEN NAMES’) in the visa application form to avoid unnecessary delays.
- Applicants should also double check their passport number and date of birth before submitting their application.
- If documents are incomplete, the online visa application is sent in ‘REVIEW’ to the applicant. After the application is sent in ‘REVIEW’, the application has to be submitted back to the Consulate General after doing the needful within ’07 days’ or else the online visa system will automatically cancel the visa application.
- Applicants may note that as per rules for issuance of visa, the fee under any circumstances is ‘NON-REFUNDABLE’ regardless of visa is granted or otherwise or cancelled due to delay on part of the applicant.
- Applicants may preferably use ‘Google Chrome’ browser for applying online visa.
- If the applicants are facing problems in payment of fee, they may contact their respective banks and get authorization for international payment.
- Along with mandatory documents, other supporting documents (mentioned above) may be uploaded under the ‘OTHER’ tab available on the online visa system.
