Consul General Tariq Karim attended Pakistan-descent Physicians Society (PPS)’s virtual Strategic Meeting-2022. During the meeting, PPS’s new President, Dr. Asif Syed, briefed the participants on various programs and projects that PPS intends to undertake during 2022.
Speaking at the occasion, the Consul General congratulated the new President and his team and whished them a successful tenure. He highlighted that promotion of Pakistan’s economic and technological partnership with the Midwest region was one of his key priorities. He lauded the Pakistani-American community & professionals, particularly the medical fraternity, in serving the society and becoming a linkage between the two countries to expand knowledge, expertise and technology in the field of medical science. He urged the PPS to continue to play their active role in the socio-economic development of Pakistan.
