Iqbal Day
Speaking at a gathering of Pakistani-American community in Illinois, Consul General Tariq Karim paid rich tribute to the great poet, thinker and philosopher #AllamaIqbal. He said that #AllamaIqbal through his vision, political insight, and poetry set a course for the Muslims of sub-continent to realize their dream of a separate homeland. He also highlighted #AllamaIqbal’s concept of “Khudi” and universality of his message, which continues to inspire people around the world.
