Consul General Tariq Karim attended Eid Mela organized by the Royal Club at the Holiday Inn Skokie. The event was attended by a large number of people from Pakistani-American Diaspora and other communities. Pakistani singer Tehseen Javed performed at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the Consul General appreciated the Pakistani-American community for organizing Eid Mela and promoting Pakistani culture and music. He also highlighted the importance of celebrating Eid together and sharing happiness, which provides an opportunity to promote greater harmony, unity, and compassion.
