Consul General Tariq Karim attended the Pakistani-Descent Physicians Society (PPS)’s Strategic Meeting held at Oakbrook, Illinois.

Speaking at the occasion, the Consul General lauded PPS’s role as one of the leading community organizations involved in capacity building, exchanging knowledge & expertise, philanthropy and contributing in socioeconomic development of the two countries, especially in the field of healthcare. He greatly appreciated PPS’s humanitarian assistance provided to victims of climate-induced catastrophic floods in Pakistan.
The Consul General welcomed new office bearers of the PPS and assured them of Consulate General’s assistance and cooperation in pursuing mutual objectives. He also commended the services of outgoing management committee with whom the Consulate General had partnered in many initiatives.
