A delegation from Illinois-based Insight Global, a major recruiting and staffing agency that specializes placing talented professionals in IT, finance, and engineering positions, met with Consul General Tariq Karim at the Consulate General. The delegation gave a detailed briefing about the company and its global operations focusing on IT sector.
The Consul General welcomed the delegation and stated that Pakistan’s geographic location, market size, demographic dividend, liberal investment policies, and rapidly developing tech ecosystem make it an important business and investment destination. Highlighting opportunities in the IT sector, the Consul General mentioned that Pakistan is the most financially attractive destination for outsourcing according to Kearney’s Global Location Index 2023. He particularly emphasized Pakistan’s human capital and skilled IT professionals. He shared that SIFC has been established to provide a single-window interface in key sectors, including IT. The Consul General encouraged Insight Global management to benefit from the opportunities presented by Pakistan, while assuring them of the Consulate’s full support.
