Consul General Tariq Karim attended the International Festival of Cultures held in Bolingbrook, Illinois. He interacted with the Mayor of Bolingbrook, Mary Alexander Basta, who thanked the Pakistani-American community for participating and enriching the festival with vibrant and beautiful colors of Pakistan.
The Pakistani pavilion, organized by the Association of Pakistani Americans (APA), Bolingbrook, exhibited Pakistani handicrafts and mehndi. Consul General Tariq Karim highlighted Pakistan’s diverse cultural heritage, landscapes and hospitality of its people.
