Consul General Tariq Karim attended a community event in Missouri, which was specially joined by Missouri’s Secretary of State, Hon. Jay Ashcroft. Speaking at the occasion, the Consul General highlighted the significance of Pak-U.S. relations, investment opportunities in Pakistan, and the role of the Pakistani-American community. He mentioned that Pakistan’s economic and trade ties with the Midwest region were growing, emphasizing the need to further expand the mutually beneficial partnership between Pakistan and Missouri.
During the visit, Consul General Tariq Karim also interacted with prominent community members and businessmen, and visited the Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis Center.
