Consul General Tariq Karim attended an event: “Jashn-e-Urdu”, which included a number of cultural segments including poetry and short plays. Allama Iqbal’s poetry was also recited. During his interaction with the participants, the Consul General highlighted Urdu as one of the most widely spoken languages in the world with a rich heritage, deeply reflected in our dynamic culture and art.
