Consul General attends literary event, Sham-e-Sher-O-Nagma

Consul General Tariq Karim attended a literary event, Sham-e-Sher-O-Nagma, organised by Noon-Jeem-Meem in Bartlett, Illinois. In his remarks as chief guest, the Consul General praised the Pakistani Diaspora for their efforts in promoting Pakistani culture, the Urdu language, and poetry. He emphasized the significance of cultural platforms like Mushaira, which unite people from diverse backgrounds through the universal language of poetry. The Consul General commended the talent and dedication of the Urdu poets in attendance and encouraged the Pakistani-American community to continue promoting the true image of Pakistan through events that reflect the country’s rich cultural heritage and its tolerant, warm, and peaceful society. Additionally, the Consul General distributed awards to literary figures and organizers for their accomplishments.
