Pakistani-American Christian community hosted reception for Consul General Tariq Karim. They welcomed the Consul General on assuming his assignment in Chicago and assured him of their support and cooperation.
The Consul General thanked them for their warm reception. While highlighting the steps taken by the Government of Pakistan to empower minorities, the Consul General stated that minorities in Pakistan, including the Christian community, were actively contributing in the socio-economic development and prosperity of Pakistan. He also briefed the community on the initiatives taken by the Government to facilitate overseas Pakistanis such as Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA).
