Consul General meets Kamran Mehdi Hassan

Consul General Tariq Karim received Mr. Kamran Mehdi Hassan, son of late legendary Singer Mehdi Hassan Khan at the Pakistan Consulate, today. Mr. Kamran is also a prominent singer.

During the meeting, the Consul General paid rich tribute to late Ustad Mehdi Hassan Khan Sb., for his invaluable services for promotion of culture and music, particularly introducing ghazal singing to a wider audience through his melodious voice and lyrical delivery. Late Mehdi Hassan Sb., famously known as the “Shahanshah-e-Ghazal” was recipient of various civil awards.
