Consul General Tariq Karim met Timothy Wiley, Regional Director, Office of Foreign Missions (OFM) of the U.S. Department of State, in Chicago. Julia Hunter, Associate Regional Director for External Relations OFM, and Murk Abro, Vice Consul Pakistan’s Consulate General, were also present.
The OFM Director warmly welcomed the Consul General in Chicago and assured the Consulate General continued support and assistance it needs to perform its functions. The Consul General thanked the OFM for its support. He stated that it would be his priority to enhance mutually beneficial partnership between Pakistan and the U.S. Midwest region in diverse fields, especially trade and economy, and promote people-to-people interactions.
