Consul General Tariq Karim visited Insight Hospital & Medical Centre Chicago at Bronzeville (South Chicago) and met with Dr. Jawad A. Shah, new owner of the hospital and a prominent member of Pakistani-American community. Dr. Jawad who is also founder of Insight Chicago briefed the Consul General about Insight Chicago’s recent acquisition of the Mercy Hospital to save this historic hospital from closing.
The Consul General appreciated Dr. Shah’s services and commitment to provide quality health services to local community in South Chicago by rejuvenating the hospital.
