The Consulate General of Pakistan, Chicago @PakinChicago observed Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) #12Rabiulawwal1443H with religious zeal, by holding a Mehfil-e-Milad, today. Members of the Pakistani-American community attended.
Speaking at the occasion, Consul General Tariq Karim said that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) laid the foundation of a society based on universal equality, human dignity, brotherhood and justice by abolishing all prejudices. He observed that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a messenger of peace and tolerance and his life provided an excellent role model for all which could benefit the entire humanity by promoting harmony and understanding among communities and global peace and stability.
