Consul General Tariq Karim visited St. Louis (Missouri) on September 10, 2022, where he participated in a community fundraising event organized by various organizations at Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis.
Speaking at the occasion, the Consul General highlighted the widespread devastation caused by catastrophic climate-induced floods in Pakistan and rescue and relief efforts of the Government. He appealed to the Pakistani-American community and broader international community to help Pakistan deal with this unprecedented national disaster.
During his visit, the Consul General also attended a community event and held discussions with businessmen. He was also briefed about the community services offered by the Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis and its expansion project.
