Consul General Tariq Karim attended an event organized by OPEN-Chicago (Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs) in Oakbrook (IL) to celebrate Eid.
Speaking at the occasion, the Consul General lauded the role of OPEN-Chicago and its members in promoting entrepreneurship and professional excellence. He highlighted that Pakistan’s partnership with the Midwest region was growing with rapid rise in trade, investment and people-to-people interactions. He shared with the participants that Pakistan’s trade volume with the Midwest region had doubled in the last two years. The Consul General encouraged the participants to play an active role in promoting investment, innovation, technology transfer and entrepreneurship in Pakistan.
