Consul General’s visit to Ohio

During his visit to Columbus, Ohio, Consul General Tariq Karim attended the grand opening of the Pakistani-American Community Service Center. The event was attended by a large number of community members and senior elected officials, including Congressman Mike Carey and Ohio Secretary of State Frank Larose. Speaking at the Occasion, the Consul General appreciated the Columbus community and management of Masjid Namrah for their efforts to establish a dedicated centre for different community services. He praised the Pakistani-American community for their contribution to the socio-economic development of the two countries as a bridge-builder. Highlighting his key priorities, the Consul General shared that Pakistan’s partnership with the Midwest region was growing, with increased trade, investment and people-to-people interactions. He encouraged the community members to continue investing back in Pakistan while playing their active role in promotion of bilateral relations.
