Consul General Tariq Karim attended the annual Iftar event of Pakistani-Descent Physicians Society (PPS). Congressman Jonathan Jackson also attended.
Speaking at the occasion, the Consul General appreciated the contribution of PPS for their charitable and capacity building work over the years, both in the US and Pakistan. He encouraged the community members and professionals to continue investing back in Pakistan through their initiatives/projects in healthcare, education and research, technology transfer, capacity building and philanthropic work. He assured them the Consulate’s full support in this regard.
