Consul General Tariq Karim attended a seminar on Seerat-Un-Nabi, organized by the Sabeel Centre in Des Plaines, Illinois.
During the event, guest speakers delivered lectures. Speaking at the occasion, the Consul General highlighted various aspects of life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He underlined the significance of Prophet (PBUH)’s teachings of peace, unity, compassion, honesty, generosity, tolerance and justice that have had a profound impact on the world. He stated that the Prophet (PBUH)’s emphasis on seeking knowledge and education not only laid the foundation for the Islamic Golden Age, during which Muslim scholars made significant contributions to science, medicine and philosophy, but also opened the door for the entirety of humanity.
