Consul General Tariq Karim attended the OPEN-Chicago annual conference, “Future of Everything Summit”, held at the Conviser Centre (IIT) in Chicago. Among the participants included a large number of entrepreneurs and thought leaders. The event was also attended by Ambassador Masood Khan, who delivered his keynote address on “Investing in Pakistan”.
Speaking at the occasion, Consul General Tariq Karim highlighted the role of OPEN as a driving force in fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and collaboration in the Pakistani-American community. He appreciated the leadership of OPEN-Chicago for their support in the Consulate’s efforts to expand Pakistan’s economic and trade ties with Chicagoland. The Consul General stated that Pakistan’s partnership with the Midwest region was growing, with increased trade, investment and people-to-people interactions. He urged OPEN-Chicago members and other entrepreneurs to avail enormous investment opportunities presented by Pakistan, while assuring them the Consulate’s full support.
