Consul General Tariq Karim attended the “1st Aalmi Urdu Conference-2023 Chicago” in Carol Stream, IL. The event, organized by Bridge Media -USA, was attended by poets and literary figures from across the US and abroad.
Speaking at the occasion, the Consul General highlighted Urdu as one of the most widely spoken languages in the world with a rich heritage, reflected in our dynamic culture, art and literature. He appreciated the role of Pakistani Diaspora in promoting Pakistani culture and Urdu language. The Consul General was presented a portrait of himself in recognition of his efforts to promote Urdu.
