Consul General Tariq Karim visited Minneapolis (Minnesota), where he held interactions with members of the Pakistani-American Diaspora and business community.
Speaking at various occasions, the Consul General highlighted his priorities including engaging the Pakistani-American community as a bridge between the two countries, pursuing economic diplomacy to advance Pakistan’s economic partnership with the Midwest region, and promoting Pakistani culture and soft image.
He lauded the Pakistani- American community for their contribution in the socio-economic development of the two countries and encouraged them to continue to play their active role in this regard. The community assured the Consul General of their full support in his initiatives.
In his interaction with the business community, the Consul General discussed ways and means to expand cooperation in different fields including Trade, Investment, Agriculture, and technology transfer.
The Consul General also visited the local Pakistani owned businesses who import goods from Pakistan, where he discussed economic and trade opportunities.
