A delegation of the Bank of Punjab, led by President Zafar Masud and Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jilani, visited @PakinChicago to participate in a seminar on Roshan Digital Account (RDA). It was attended by members of the Pakistani-American community, investors, entrepreneurs & businessmen.
Consul General Tariq Karim, in his remarks, outlined his key priorities including engaging the Pakistani-American community as a bridge-builder and pursuing economic diplomacy to promote mutually beneficial trade and economic collaboration between Pakistan and the US Midwest region. He underlined that Pakistan’s focus had shifted from geo-politics to geo-economics and the country was offering tremendous opportunities for trade and investment to foreign investors and entrepreneurs.
The members of the delegation made presentations on RDA and other investment products offered by the Bank to Overseas Pakistanis. They noted that Pakistan’s economy was resilient and provided a lucrative environment to foreign investors with full flexibility of repatriation of their investments and dividends.
